Thank you. since he has gotten into this thing of putting vet markers out for his ancesters, he has decided he wants one, too. i have to look into that so we are ready when the, hopefully distant, day comes. and I guess he wants the flag.

You might want to check with your local American Legion post on that.

I read Goodbye Darkness, Manchester's memoir of the Pacific War. It pretty much cured me of any romantic notions of warfare.
