tax cuts don't cause deficits, over spending does.

Only a rightwingnut would consider an investment in renewable energy and electrification of the transportation industry an expense.

I'll tell you exactly when I'm against tax cuts. I'm against them when they cause deficits. The two Bush tax cuts were directly responsible for the Clinton/Gingrich surpluses turning to deficits.

How can any sane fiscal conservative support deficit causing tax cuts? It makes no sense.

Their illogic is mind numbing. These days its hard for me to have any discourse with them.

How do you feel about the (up to) $500k cap gains exemption on the sale of a house tax break? Or the $8k tax credit for first time homebuyers or the cash for clunkers tax break?

Mindmeld, > Only a rightwingnut would consider an investment in renewable energy and electrification of the transportation industry an expense.

Wrong. Anyone with any sense whatsoever would call that an expense. Doesn't matter whether the money is going toward noble causes or not. It's still a check that needs to be signed.

Taking less of what you earn is not an "expense" on the part of the taker. That's simple logic.
