We've merely pointed out that it hardly KILLED the prosperity of the '90's. That tax rates were a NON-factor.

Your reasoning is overly simplistic. Raising taxes did not kill the economic recovery. Raising taxes did result in a reduction in the deficit which does have many long term economic benefits. Calling it "taxing your way to prosperity" is an attempted straw man to ridicule the reality of that.

I suppose you can say that Clinton did that. But is deliberately using words with negative connotations. It is sort of like saying a guy who talks with his young niece as "repeatedly engaged in social intercourse with his under aged niece"...
