The (R)'s were invited to participate early on, by Obama himself, and at SEVERAL junctures, refused, and eventually the (D)'s just gave up on the idea. The (R)'s weren't interested in being constructive - only obstructive, all along. Screw 'em. They had a chance to be on the RIGHT side of history for once. This will go down with SS and Medicare as yet ANOTHER extremely popular social program the (R)'s OPPOSED.

The Rs have been allowed NO ROLE, WHATSOEVER, in the process. Totally locked out. I reiterate: How many Rs were in the room when the legislation were drafted? Oh please.......you are being totally ridiculous. The only reform the Rs want is tort reform. Otherwise, they think things are fine. Your party is bankrupt.....it has nothing to offer the American people except to the rich. That's why the party is despised.

This is as totally untrue as anything can be. Right...it was the dems touring the country with stories on "pulling the plug on grandma" and "death panels" and other lies and distortions like these. The republicans are playing their proper and well earned role of disruptive, undermining, negative value add. I reiterate: How many Rs were in the room when the legislation were drafted?
