Did you catch 60 Minutes tonight?

I didn't.

Looks like "Death Panels" are alive and well in some places ;)

Death panels or rationing?

<<Looks like "Death Panels" are alive and well in some places ;)>>

How you could construe the 60 minutes piece into death panel talk is beyond me.

Would i like to be lying in intensive care at age ninety five and have PSA test,MRI,CAT scans, colonoscopy ,pace maker installed, kidney transplant, cosmetic surgery, complete dental restoration, hair implants, penis implant and if female pap smear and a boob job, to be ridiculous,...ridiculous!!

I am on my way out the door to the other side and i would hope that my family would have, after instructions from me prior, or without, the good sense to say no extra measures to keep this tired old wreck going and DO NOT RESUSCITATE. do not waste resources on something that is inevitable. Of course each situation is different and that is why families should be deeply involved in these personal decisions.

IT is common sense to discuss end of life issues with doctors, with whole family involved, costs involved and benefit from money spent, is what the 60 minutes piece was addressing .

Death panels???Good grief!!
