Fine Don, we spend too much on nation-building. Let's cut the defense budget and lower the deficit that way.

Or we can spend that toward a domestic energy policy so that we don't have to send that money to the Middle East.

What are we waiting for? Oh yeah, we're waiting on socialized medicine to become a reality. Better to expand entitlement programs now so that in the future we'll have no choice but to raise taxes.

We can't do THAT Don! That would be a TRILLION of our tax dollars spent over ten years on OUR OWN COUNTRY! It makes ever so much more sense to squander it on the military and foreign adventures.
