Howdy,

I meant that yesterday, even though I posted it this morning, was one of those 'take this job and shove it' days. It was so much fun that I would have liked to do a complete 180 on my views regarding 'smoke'. It would be nice to have something to turn my attention to which is somewhat enlightening during those periodic times.

On a more positive note, the fall colors are exquisite this year. I guess all the right conditions came together to make it so. What is even nicer is most of the touristas have left the area making it easier to get around. One can concentrate a little more on the beauty of the area instead of how close the bumper ahead is.

Got a full plate today. Talk at ya later, and of course maybe throw in a little rant at no one in particular. I am so me.

My, what a day it was. Did you fall asleep in the chair, too? I crashed out around 6:30 tonight(yesterday), woke up around 10 and decided I wanted more out of one of my days off. I rented "Powder" last night and wanted to watch it before it is due back today. I love that movie, many powerful subtexts to an all powerful theme - we are all part of one another. The scenes are very moving so much so that I would find it difficult to believe anyone could sit through it and never shed a tear; although, I'm sure someone could prove me wrong.

I was wondering if it would not be entirely out of line to ask: How did those which post here or read here meet their partners, and what was it about the other person which attracted them enough to seek a long term union?

S.J. and I met through mutual friends. I think they set us up actually, unbeknownced to us. We met in the club where the three worked together after their shift, had some drinks and talked, and then went over to our mutual friend's house.

Our friends are game players and I confess, I am one also. We decided to play Password to pass the time. S.J. and I seemed as though we just clicked that night we first met. It was almost as if we were telepathic that night. I knew she was really special, but I was in another relationship at the time, yet I never forgot her. Four or five years passed before we actually got together. But it is all the details which brought us together eventually. The real story is in those details.

Anyone care to pick up and carry the ball?
