I agree with your assessment, my model is still on a longer term buy signal, but I did get a confirmed mini sell signal yesterday, so it's at least time to be cautious... interestingly enough though, the mini sell signal also indicated that we should see buying enter the market at 1070.10, and we actually reached and traded even lower than that over night... the fact that we rallied nicely away from that level without testing it again tells me the market may still have some upside left in it, but it's still time to be cautious considering the confirmed mini sell signal... based on this, a light short position is well worth taking with a tight leash on it...<g>

Here's a "what if" question... if the stock market has a major correction in 2010, then what do you think might happen with gold? Do you think it would also decline or one has little or nothing to do with the other? TIA
