Funny how it always comes down to assumptions and declarations about appearances and presumed reactions and linkages. Tangible connections and results, just about zilch.

But I know the chant will remain the same from that quarter whether the neocons are in power getting nothing done, or out of of power screaming that the world is coming to an end unless they are allowed back into power to achieve nothing again. The song remains the same.

<How about failures of appearing weak?>

Let's see, Obama has been around for a year and no terrorist attacks in the US that I know of.

Does anybody remember if anything happened during Bush's first year ?

If so, was it because he appeared "weak" ?

>>Bush's war on terror has left the USA untouched.<<

Q -

The USA was untouched for most of Bill Clinton's two terms, also. There was an attack on the WTC on February 26, 1993, roughly five weeks after he took office. After that attack, the perpetrators were apprehended, jailed, tried, and convicted. I guess that law enforcement approach worked pretty well, since there were no attacks on US soil for more than 8 years after that one.

Interestingly, I don't remember anyone blaming that 1993 incident on the previous administration.
