Lenders do not lend money with the goal of having to foreclose; it is a messy, expensive, time-consuming process. If you knew anything at all about the real estate business you'd know this. Read my lips: Lenders redlined neighborhoods, based mostly on race, before they even bothered to find out if the people could repay the loans. They didn't want to deal with poor people who also were people of color. I know that must be hard for you to accept given as you believe that racism doesn't exist in this country but then you are out of touch with reality on a number of subjects so it doesn't come as a big surprise.
