I heard a fascinating prediction on the radio the other day...

In the future, big box discount stores like Walmart, Costco, and Sam's Club will recharge your electric vehicle for free while you shop! That way they'll have you captive on their premises for 20 minutes or so while the vehicle recharges. I think it could happen. They're already stealing the retail fuel business away from the major oil companies...
