Historically, crap like that is usually followed by a regime change.

Currency "reforms" are a pretty good sign the ruling elite is running out of room.

What do they expect North Korean citizens to do with the new currency? They sure won't save it.

People want to send others to pay the bill. Once bill arrives and they have to pay, not only they do not have money to pay, they refuse to drop their actual level of spending.

They are –in fact- sending their bill for their children to pay!

Oh, wait a moment! They don't have children to pay either!!

By the way bills for those Mediterranean club countries just started arriving...
