It's a reminder how much the loud voices from the left and the right can obscure the real political landscape sometimes.

Much like the huffing and puffing around Bernanke's reappointment. They may slow it down, even a small chance it could be stopped.

But the strong likelihood is that he gets confirmed. I really doubt the Senate wants to go through the agonizing process of choosing who would replace him. There is certainly no consensus behind who that might be.

Amazing poll numbers. I keep looking to see if I misread them

Nice bounce from the 30's approval. I expect it drops off rather significantly as time goes on and the speech is history.
