Well I think the only people who are panicking are the big boys. Thats cause they dont know if they are going to get their bonuses or not. Everyone I have talked to and I mean everyone, who dont pay much attention to the market but watches news and all the hype wants to buy on any more dips. Thats what screwed up the big boys on monday, they expected the market to collapse and it didnt, and it was not the big boys who kept it from collapsing, They were all trying to sell to lock in their gains. The smart money this round seems to be the small investor and after brain washing them to buy on any dips they have created a monster. Heck someone like me who pays a lot of attention to the market is scared like hell, But the avergae joe is like heck if I could sell the wife and buy stocks I would. Oh I am sure they will try again, since they keep saying we have to see another dip to the lows so we can buy in cause we missed out before. I think they will underestimate again and loose out. If this was asia I would be saying a whole another thing though. But the US market is great, economy is great, now there wont be any intrest rate hikes, no inflation or deflation to worry about, no trade deficit to worry about. The only problem is for companies selling to asia. And even then its only for certain companies certain lurxy goods. You keep saying the sky is falling often enough and people stop listning after a while with all the other noise of marketting. But this surprised even me.. I think we are going to see a miracle.. I mean things havent changed, asia was tanking for years, so was japan, whats different??? This entire thing is more than staged and it didnt quite work. take CYMI, why is it trading at 25 when the company itself has said there is no problem, and nothing has changed? Enough to downgrade to a sell at 25 while at 50 it was a strong buy?? Amazing dont you think...
