Had a lovely day of computer time and looking out my office window watching big flakes of snow fall to the ground. It was one of my most lazy days, I think. Snow gone but expecting a morning of 25% tomorrow. Burr, that will be another day to suffer through, but actually have to go to an adoption party in the afternoon for one of our younger friends who just got their third child, a boy, finalized today. He now now joins two older sisters, also adopted.

Yes he did and brought a young man home with him that usually eats with us regularly at a favorite cafe of ours. He has lost all this family and we three kinda adopted each other. He graciously stopped at our "House of Pies" and came in with a beautiful cherry pie for dessert. He states he loves my cooking and very complimentary to me. Yes, he knows I don't cook much any longer but never turns down a meal when we tell him I am cooking at home. He has never married and we keep looking for a nice mate for him, as he would make a good husband, we think. He has several girl friends but still keeps looking for that perfect mate. He is a well rounded young man with many areas of talent and his library has over five thousand books in it, so is a prolific reader and researcher.

I really love candles and besides lighting things up, make the house smell nice. Are you familiar with Party Lite candles. They are one of my favorites and their vanilla ones are so fragrant. Keep the blueberry in the kitchen. My oldest daughter keeps me in tealites bringing me boxes of 75. She also has many boxes of them as she used them in her craft business so much when she was doing starched Victorian Lace candle holders, which I have a few of. She closed that down, but still has a lot of inventory left. Now works in the field of her degree and enjoying it.
