Scott: I always use the close, as it seems to be the price that is indicative of the most astute traders [Elder makes that point in his book (Trading For A Living), and it is well taken]. I haven't run a chart on RADAF, but if it meets those criteria (as I stated in a post to Jaytee), it should be in a solid trend. If RADAF trades OTC-BB, then use the days end Bids [trust me, as I think irby will agree, MM's have the best research going for them in the stks. they make a market for. You can't beat them.)

Scott: a quick check on RADAF disclosed the following to me: 1). the spread is livable; 2). the 3 MA's are defiintely trending upward, and have been for some time; 4). the vol. has been declining; and, the tail (the line below the close) is rather long on the 28th of Oct. [High: 14; Low: 9.75]. That tail indicates that, on that particular day, there was more bearish pressure on the stk. than there was bulllish. I would have to ask you what kind of ceiling you put on the stk.? If it is 25% or more than the current price, I would wait until I saw an uptik on a lot more vol.; if it is less than 25% above the current price, I would sit it out and wait for a retrenchment.

Scott: a little more on RADAF: the 5 day MA has crossed below the 10 day MA; even though the 50 day MA is rising steadily, that, coupled with the lower volume, is definitely an indication of some slowing down. The time to have gone heavy on the stk. was in June [at around 4], caught the quick run up and sold half of the position [limiting your exposure]. That would have been my strategy for a day play; however, this stk. looks more like a position, short term, buy and hold. If the 50 day MA turns down, I would pull the plug and watch to get in on a correction.
