You can answer your own questions. Here are my answers.

(1) Why is Intel reducing the price of its PII's so aggressively?
(No demand?)
(2) Which end of the market will take the most Q4 Christmas sales, the PII end at system prices of $1999 and up or the AMD and Cyrix end at under $1000.
(The low end systems)
(3) What is the Intel profit on a low end P166MMX selling at $112?
(ziltch)
(4) At the low end are box producers demanding and getting lower prices from Intel?
(ask CPQ)
(5) Is Intel dumping its inventory of classic Pentiums the way AMD is dumping its K5's?
(ask the Intel Insiders)
