To All. When the wife took her nursing test here in Pa. eight years ago, the state gave them twice a year. Your three tries and your out could take eighteen months. Now you can fail three times in three weeks at Sylvan centers. The wife was never fingerprinted, as it is not a prerequisite for employment at this time in PA. SLVN is rolling thumbs now, I would imagine as proof to who actually took the test. With the TP-600s, the next logical step is good background checks. This is a case of per click revenue that IDX doesn't need to drum up. SLVN will be doing as they have been doing, just sharing the revenue with us.

jerald,

The Oracle project is not in trouble.

The software is in.......The cost of the reader needs to come down. Many are waiting for the next generation to pop. Watch how fast this area takes off when the price per PC is at less than $100.

We make no money on a $50 reader?......Wrong.

We will make the good money the same way Oracle makes the good money. X$ up front to use the software......and a few bucks per workstation hooked up to it......Heck, let the reader fall to $1.00 per unit....IDX will make a killing......You worry way too much. Listen to Randy and watch for the next product out of Fingerscan. The reason Oracle has not yet exploded may become clear.......Keep in mind that Oracle has a Kazillion customers who are hooked up to a MegaKazillion workstations......$30 million in Oracle sales will just be a drop in the potential bucket.
