The globe isn't warming, so we'll just quite calling it global warming and start calling it climate change. Worst case this is a problem that will solve itself - since the same folks tell us peak oil is here - we'll be switching to alternatives before long anyway. If this was really about getting off fossil fuels the world governments would only need to begin permitting the construction of nuke plants - like north korea and iran are doing and have "a right to" according to the one. :-)
