Inode, Obama was expressing dismay that Wall Street bankers were prioritizing their own salaries and the well-being of their companies over the general welfare of the credit market.

Nothing wrong with that viewpoint, by the way. His core constituents, i.e. his fellow "community organizers," can't afford to see it any other way. But they are just making demands that can never be met without some severe unintended consequences.

If Obama wants real solutions, he would think "win-win" scenarios, not "us vs. them." Obama may be more talk than action, but even the message can be shifted.

"It is like striking the deal with the car dealer only to find the floor mats weren't included in the price."

Asswipe, Like Bush did with the TARP? Absolutely NO conditions THERE. Obama's the one that had them pay it back or have their compensation limited.
