It is a perpetual lease and Cuba doesn't cash the rent checks ($5,000/month, I seem to recall).

It is free. It would be beyond stupid to give up a strategically important location like this with billions in infrastructure for what? Nothing.

Besides, once we get rid of the idiot president we have, we can close that new multi-billion dollar prison in IL and move these f*cking terrorists back over there where they need to be.
