2010: i'm going long the taliban. usa soldier on a one to one with the taliban.. 1 million USD not including etc's and post war theatre life time/family rewards, such as they are. taliban soldier..... annual... maximum.. 500 USD.. no after war/participation costs of any accountable kind. weapons? add 2-5 million avg for usa soldier individual use. taliban weapons ea. use... 1000 USD maximum estimate. over all soldier coverage in war theatre.... usa soldier... add endless list for support/drones/airforce/halliburton (a big nut, including the guy who used to run it) talibani dude.... something for his sister. i'm long diminishing returns. and that ain't the taliban. they operate for zero all day long 24x7x365 reagan got it right... chapter 11 the russians into submission. bin laden got it right... chapter 11 everybody else. were he not so pissed off, he would have been quite capable of forming an interesting going concern. 2010 is going to be boot camp for everybody used to operating along traditional lines of engagement.
