I have another conspiracy theory. Let's say Kinross knows our EC property has a very good chance of finding gold and therefore would expand their reserves after a takeover. Isn't it a little odd that of all the mining companies in Ecuador just K, EC and CTQ have their drilling permits. Maybe Kinross with their political power helped ensure we also received our permits so they have idea how big the total reserves would be for negotiating their royalties with the Ecuadorian government.
Either this is true or we have brilliant management or very well connected.
