The whole thing is so nuts. In the beginning I thought Nelson was a possible vote breaker. But in the end, he is nothing more than Landrieu and the rest of the political whores.

It is unfortunate that he is not up for reelection so we could see what the red staters would do. Unfortunately, he has three years left to persuade Nebraskans how wonderful he is and to forget his health care vote.

He had a substantial margin in '06; his vote tally was nearly 64 percent.
