Dont mix the two and think all muslims are bad. I don't think all Muslims are bad. In fact, I have no reason to believe that any of them are bad. I'm looking at what Islam teaches, and it seems to be incompatible with freedom of religion as it is defined by our country's laws. There should be some way of divorcing political perversion of a religion so the perverts don't get the protections.

I live in a muslim society and 95% of the people are nice people. && There is a minority that have perverted the religion for political reasons and that is what you hear about. Dont mix the two and think all muslims are bad. So after 9/11, how did the polling for Osama Bin Laden go where you live? I didn't see one Muslim country where he was viewed unfavorably by the majority. Most places celebrated. If you support Bin Laden, terrorism and the killing of innocents, you are a bad person. This would mean the majority are bad.

Neil, MOST people are nice, I've found. But when a particular sect has 1.3 Billion people that have both a culture, and religion that is their government, with perhaps 1/2 of 1% fundamentalist radicals (well over 1 Million people just that 1/2%) then it is cause for worry and concern. To date, we've heard NO Muslim Religious head saying "I'm sorry or better yet "WE'RE sorry" for the deaths and destruction that some followers of their orders continue to do. Look around....what other folks are taking children, putting bombs on them, and sending them out to murder others and kill themselves? What other people continually tell Americans and Jews that they are to be killed for their beliefs? What other people have killed so many innocent people in the name of jihad and Allah? ETC~~! All Muslims aren't bad. BUT some of them definitely are.
