If you were really pragmatic, you would see that this cost is part of the cost of providing medicine, cost that is probably the most unproductive of all costs in medicine.

Of course I do...the point of the conversation was not this...and in fact I even agree that some form of control would be beneficial. I don't agree however that it's the sweeping panacea the republicans make it out to be. IOW, it's not replacement for true reform.
