Apparently only leftwing sources are pooh poohing the FACT that this bill attempts to impose a 2/3 super-majority on overriding the death panel. It is accepted as fact by those whose interests are not aligned with the leftwing.

Then that would make your Ed Morrissey, who got his facts right about the object of the imposition, a left winger. I don't think he'd like your calling him that... <g>

I didn't challenge the FACT that a super-majority is being imposed on overriding the decisions of the "death panel." I challenged the assertion that getting rid of the BOARD would require a super-majority. I was clear about that from the get-go. Don't know how you missed it.

My initial response on the subject: "Actually, it's not the "establishment" of the board but the recommendations of the board. The impact, as usual, has been exaggerated."
