very interesting predictive tool for cardiac disease.

Yes, it is. I can move on the dance floor because of years of training. But I am stiff as a board otherwise. I lay down to use the machine I got to lift my legs, and to get up I have to roll on to my stomach and then get up.

Touching your toes is another way of saying, "I don't have a gut." A small gut is the REAL sign of not having problems.

since i never could touch my toes. i assume i was not exercising my leg and back muscles for flexibility. my mother into her 80's could put her hands down on the floor when she would bend over with legs straight. she died of a heart attack and other complications.

i cannot dispute what ever the test results say but imo the improvements in arterial resulted after months of trying to touch your toes. The result is these people got off the couch and started an exercise program.

tai chi program was great to give me balance, stretching exercises and loosen joints. In addition to strengthen your core and breathing it was great. i have added sit ups, push ups, and lunges to my program. i could do zero of these exercises a few months ago. Imo my balance is so much better. just to be able to lift and hold up one leg without losing balance is a major accomplishment.

dam i still cannot touch my toes or even come close to them!
