I understand that they're developing a restraint system that will mummify passengers for the last hour of flight. The revivification process is still undergoing testing, though. Problems have been encountered with the test subjects.

OT Rant...

Does anyone else think being forced to sit for the last hour of the flight is absurd? Why not hand cuffed and strapped down, sedated?

Think about it....

IMO its an admission TSA believes there is a chance, a small chance, they didn't catch everything before boarding the plane.

Very comforting...

Kinda like the San Clemente Border Patrol check point on Interstate 5. As the border patrol hasn't anywhere near full control of the border, they set up an additional check point 70 miles north of the border. When it's open, and you never know when it's open, they check everyone heading north. Begs the question of why they couldn't get it done right the first time? or the constitutional problems of randomly stopping US citizens.

Crazy how a couple of clowns have forced this country to spend billions for security. Quite a monkey wrench.
