Then why is it that the rest of the world sits back and let's us take care of thing, at our expense? Is it because they are stupid and we are smart? Have you taken a look at our debt recently?

Ten, when we were rich and had low debt, I was also an advocate of a forward, muscular posture. However, we simply can't afford it anymore. We have to move to a more practical posture that puts pressure on our allies to do more of their share. Why are we always the ones who have to foot the bill to police the globe? That doesn't make any sense.

We've been the initiators of all the wars since WWII that we participated in. None of which threatened the United States, and required no "defense" of our selves.

We're the country that goes to war, for other countries. I don't think it pays off.
