We stream Netflix movies on our HDTV using a wireless laptop with HDMI. Works amazingly well. I expected some internet buffering and pixilation but the movies we have watched stream very well. I wondered about that. The HDTV we bought has a way to connect a laptop. I would, however, prefer to use the wireless doohicky arrangement on the back of the DVD player, if I can. As for the speeds, that was precisely what I worry about. Did you have to do something with your Netflix account to set it up for streaming video? Pay more? This is our first HDTV so we have lots to learn about its idiosyncracies. My wife has just spent several hours this afternoon trying to mesh our FIOS remote with the TV remote. Looks as if she's succeeded.
