The gullibility of humankind is certainly proven every November at the polls and every Xmas at the mall. Consider this: A man who "walked on water" and "changed water into wine" is still worshiped and protected by the most powerful and richest organization in the world. Under normal circumstances in modern society, we'd call him a huckster at best or more likely nothing more than an illusionist. After two thousand years, we've seen enough secret's revealed. But , apparently, a select few "witnesses" were vocal enough back when oral communication was the almost exclusive means of exchanging info to ultimately turn fiction into fact and write a bestseller. And nobody in the Catholic church dare question a two thousand year old tall tale? I am flabbergasted at the sheer number of seemingly intelligent persons from all walks of life who refuse to even consider the absurdity. All reason seems to break down when Jesus is invoked
