The only reason I need a device attached to the SAMSUG blu ray is that it is the box I bought.

There are others out there but I got a great buy on a SAMSUNG and took it.

I also have a new 46 inch SAMSUNG 1080 pixels TV that
accommodates a Blu Ray. One does not have to purchase blu ray
disks as I recall Dale said he had one and did not find it that great however right now if one wants the same sharp
picture that the TV provides this is the best DVD player.

Hope my terminology is O.K on this. I am not a gadget person when it comes to directions.
