Samsung has couple of Bluray DVD players that allows connection to internet for streaming video etc..

So if your modem or router is nearby all you need to do is to hard-wire the player to a Ethernet cable.. Otherwise, one would need a WI-FI add on for the model that don’t already have that feature..

Last time I had looked, price difference between two models was about 100 bucks.. one without WIFI was under 150 bucks on sale I think..

FWIW..

I'll get back to you, ML, as I work on connecting our blu-ray player to our wifi network and then seeing how streaming Netflix works. A bit too much family stuff going on right now to spend time with it.

And our new HDTV, also a Samsung but only a 42" (sad ;-(), which needs a bit of tweaking before I'm comfortable with the picture quality. Looks right now as if it varies by channel. Something wrong.
