I had to buy a HMDI cord.. Now I am probably misspelling that but it is a cord that enhances the picture.... and is sold for about forty bucks. I don't know where you got your TV but they will know what you mean.

Without that cord the picture on ours was terrible.

It has copper or something in it to make connections better..

HDMI... HMDI.. something like that. Check it out.

It's normal for picture quality to vary by channel, and even sometimes by program. It depends on the format each channel is sending in.
