Yes. LOL. You got it exactly. The deer feeders are ubiquitous. Hunting is more like sitting around and drinking beer, with an occasional shot at a deer. That's how my niece bagged one. We have a great picture of her standing next to the deer, which was strung up on a tree after it was gutted by my brother-in-law, with her bloody hands held high. It was a sight to see. My brother-in-law gave me some damn good venison jerky, which he had made out of that one.

I'm not much of a hunter myself, but my family and my wife's both are full of hunters. In fact, our families are full of hunters, military men, accountants, and lawyers. No wonder we're almost all a conservative bunch. I think I may be the only one to defect recently and vote Democrat. I had a lot of explaining to do last time I visited everyone. You can rest assured of that. :)

"Don't texan's hunt deer from stands over feeders"

Dick Cheney hunts drugged ducks that are tossed in front of his shotgun! No lie!

"Don't texan's hunt deer from stands over feeders -"

Some do. And some use deer dogs. Neither is much of a hunt.
