What I think history will say about Bush, the KIND historians at least, was that he was manipulated into a war by Cheney and Rumsfeld, then went to the American people and conned THEM into it. I'm sure Cheney and Rove told him that as a "wartime president", he could expect great political support from the American people, after a disputed election amny thought was stolen. Rummy probably told him it would be great for their friends and the economy. The neocons thought it would be GREAT for Israel. A sad decade, for sure, with a really bad president, arguably our worst..
