I have considered some of those ideas. One example: "Angels breath a soul into the body during the second trimester." This seems sensible to me, although not observable or testable ... and even if you accept that as an absolute truth, you have no way of knowing the exact timing of such an event. The best you could determine from that if you were such a believer is, no abortions after the first trimester has clearly passed.

I didn't intend the statement to make sense in any manner, except when you are picking a point in human existence where humanness is clearly distinguished from previous non-humanness. "The easiest, least complex, most defensible answer is conception, at least as far as observable stages goes."
