We've been trying to clean out old stuff too.

Right now I'm reeling from the following:

Two days before Christmas my truck died underway on the way to Missoula. Towed, Spent $650 to fix it and got back underway in about five hours.

Got about 60 miles, just into a dead cell phone area on the Montana side of Lookout Pass, when the truck died again with the same symptoms.

Sat in the cold for an hour until a snow plow driver took pity and stopped. He radioed in to his office in Missoula, who called my brother. Bro picked us up about three hours later. No engine, no heat. Somehow I had a premonition and had brought sleeping bags and warm clothes, and we had enough food on board to live for several days, so we were OK.

Next day the truck got towed back to Coeur d'Alene, and the dealership looked into it while we were in Missoula.

The parts they needed came from Portland, but the freight truck had a wreck and the parts were delayed until they could offload to another freighter.

Got the call yesterday that it was all done, and they had even given it a couple of test drives.

Picked it up today, wrote check for $2050, and drove off for a nice dinner with wife. She followed me home after that, and we got another 25 miles when the truck died again with the same symptoms. This time I was in the center lane but managed to coast over to the shoulder without getting smashed by the heavy traffic. God was definitely with me on that.

Called the dealership again, luckily as they were just shutting up shop for the night. They sent another tow truck, which turned out to be the same company from the first tow before Christmas. The driver had a good laugh because his roommate had been the driver of the first tow, and had also reported my truck dead on the pass before the second tow.

Got home safely about an hour ago.

Life is good.

Mechanical devices suck.

I know of some groups that especially look for clothes like your business clothes. some folks have the clothes, or decent ones are easier to come by, for daily work... but the dressier work suits that do well for interviews are harder to come by. So your old buisness clothes might just be a boon.
