When I found out that the dealership I was working with had a sales quota for their repair department, the same as their new and used car sales, I started looking for an independent mechanic. I found out accidently when I went looking for a place to work while I waited for my car to be serviced. Walked into their meeting room and there on the wall was a chart of all the service representatives' progress and sales for the month. Another chart was for parts and services used and performed and who sold them.
