I have never seen the CIA get "stuck on stupid" like this. The after-action report, which we will never read, will be interesting. Al Qaeda must be laughing their asses off.

The situation in our Agency is so bad it's just hard to know what to say. I'm sure we just don't even know a smidgen of just how bad it really is! After all the Plame and her unlovely husband Joe Wilson mess, and all the etcs, I really feel sorry for career agents who really care about this country, as well as their career. Surely there are many of them. We already know there are some that are turncoats, and just waiting to write their scandal book, but they can't be all that way. It's hard to comprehend what a blow this must be to our US interests, to say nothing of how bad it is for the families of those who were killed doing their job. Wonder if we'll live long enough to see just how much the "new rules" of this Adm really have changed the landscape and how many more of our people will be killed because of those changes??? I had lunch with one of my moderate Lib friends today, and even she is just appalled with what she reads....
