Cheney and Bush planned the Iraq war to pave the way for US oil companies to profit.

"No blood for oil".

You freaking lunatic liberal.

Thats an absurd lie. You have to have a simple-minded Marxist worldview to believe that.

Say, why didn't we invade MX or CN? Much easier and they have plenty of oil too. Or Saudi Arabia? Venezuela? Angola?

It was discovered that the task force "led by Vice President Dick Cheney was examining maps of Iraq's oil assets in March 2001, two years before the United States led an invasion to oust Saddam Hussein.

OMG, they where studying maps, lets hang them right now.

Studying maps of oil production, accurate comments about how Iraq is a destabilizing influence, a briefing suggesting oil funds be used to defray the cost of military operations, a statement about how Iraq would be able to pay for its own reconstruction...

All of that adds up to nothing in terms of supporting your argument "Cheney and Bush planned the Iraq war to pave the way for US oil companies to profit." Most of the points aren't even relevant to that idea.

Any competent military commander would want to know where to avoid bombing. You leftwingers might have wanted to create an environmental disaster as an unintended consequence, but those who love the environment would work to prevent that.
