Well, so far so good in the Y2K sector. For example, on Friday, ACLY restated earnings downward and announced a contract; the street chose to focus on the latter and they are up 5%!

BC, good job on the merits of TPRO and thanks for finding all those relevant Y2K press releases. Makes life much easier during a busy work day when this thread is one-stop shopping for Y2K information.

Awesome post Mr. Czech. Is this the creative production of one night with the goddess? Can we slay whoever slighted you, and have your presence amongst us again? Frank

Awesome post Mr. Czech. Is this the creative production of spending one night with the goddess? Can we slay the fiend that slighted you, and have you once again join us mortals on the common thread? Don't wait till 10, six will do just fine. We are punished enough. Frank

Since you eagerly asked for holes in your argument ---

Perhaps you are letting the sound of your own wheels drive you crazey.
The facts speak for themselves:

BIG loss in last qtr ended 6/30/97---(app. $3 million)
Sales also slipped from previous qtr.
Lots of cheap dilution--(see 10KSB/A pages 13 & 14 )
Capitalizing software costs (normal, but a drag if sales don't result).

Sales for the sake of sales are meaningless if unprofitable.
Shares are increasing nicely, however.

Marty

<<I say I have a limited investing budget.>>

Investing in companies like TPRO is a good way to make it a much smaller budget.

I took a look at the company. Needless to say, the income statement and balance sheet is hideous. At most it's a penny stock which has been blown up to ridiculous valuations based on hot air. If you bought at 1 congratulations...if not you may want to consider selling or shorting (if shares are available to borrow).

The embedded systems problem is simply a new spin to the general Y2K hoax. While I am sure that problems do exist...costs for updating systems will not reach even a small percentage of the predicitions made by Y2K hypesters. I also don't buy into the exploding Y2K litigation problem.

Price target for TPRO.......< 1

Buy, sell, hold?

A number of you have e-mailed me asking for investing advice.

"What do you have? What have you bought? What have you sold?"

Alas, what ignorant sin have I committed? --Shakespeare.

Please save yourself a lot of wasted time - I don't know sh*t from a hole in the ground!

I am a tiny investor compared to most of you - good at research, lousy at investing, worse at trading.

I see my role here as a conduit for y2k information, definitely not as an investment advisor!

And as the resident Fool, of course!
