Just my 2c.

The thread title is "Picks of the Quarter".

Pick your positions, whether stocks or cash, short or long, at the beginning of the quarter, and see where you end up at the end of the quarter. No trades at all.

I would like the rule change, but make it affective in the next competition. Changing the rules mid game changes everything. I made the selection I made thinking I might only be able to sell one of them a month. If I had known there would be two trades per month, perhaps I pick something different. I vote we keep the rules the same for this round and change them next round if they are to be changed, which I also favor.
