<<Let's get something straight. Christianity is a FAITH, not a religion.>>

Christianity IS a religion that (like all forms of religion) relies on faith for its existence. Faith is basically the act of making a virtue out of thinking completely illogically.

It makes people believe that strapping a bomb onto ones self and killing others makes you a martyr and bestows upon one a harem of virgins in the after life. It makes people believe that there's a man with white hair, toga and sandals up in the clouds that can hear and see everything you do. It makes people believe that at the beginning of time there was a man and a woman and the woman was made from the rib of the man. That a snake enticed the woman to make the man eat a forbidden fruit and inflict us all with original sin.

If one believes unquestioningly the Adam and Eve fairy tale, why not believe in Santa Claus......it's just as ridiculous a story?!? People of "faith" are if nothing else, completely inconsistent.

<<Indeed.. I certainly believe that any deity worth worship would disapprove of indoctrinating children to strap explosives on their chests and blowing themselves up.>>

Killing of any kind, be it in the name of a God or in the name of revenge is morally reprehensible.

I am surprised you did not say "Christianity is a race".
