The Moose is bigger, a LOT bigger.

Driving down from Anchorage to Homer on the Kenai Peninsula week of labor day aro 1985, two of those guys just stood there, right on the road and didn't move.
Tell 'ya, those guys are BIG!

I have seen enough 'Älgar' in Sweden including right outside the window at our place in the forst in Southern sweden to know. Not that the Swedish ones are small - but the Moose is much bigger.

Thus I have a problem with your translation - unless we call it a 'smaller Moose'.

I forgot, but as you reminded me, now I remember.

Give me a few family names and possibly more, even birth year would be of interest, and I locate some of those late relatives of yours!

Doing a lot of ancestors research recently - most Swedes do - so that is - a piece of cake.
Might even find out where they are buried for you...

Yes, they want to keep the wolfe population down to around 220 animals.

Also all of them now come from 3 original animals only, so the idea is killing some and then implanting fresh blood, importing a couple of animals moving over the borders between Sweden/Finland/Russia.
