Finally, someone using their common sense to dissect GOP motives. Everyone knew that - it's the stupid allegation they were taking the oil. America and the world run on oil, safe guarding it against disruption is a proper goal of the USA. Do you think anyone from the Dem side can admit we had UN backing and support along with regional players like Saudi Arabia asking us to take action?

It never ceases to amaze me that AQ keeps blowing up people instead of oil facilities. They must really not know us very well if they don't realize greed is our weakness. Plus, the oil is so much easier to get at. Pipelines and tankers are hard to defend.
