Technically the war didn't end. That nuance doesn't pay for the troops. At least Japan pays a portion of the cost of our troops within their borders. Listen it's probably the Asian Century. Ted is right; it's just a matter of time before we have to withdraw from many of our defensive agreements. We can't police Asia and the Middle East and Europe and where ever... we just can't afford it. Our debt is piling up, our infrastructure needs to be refreshed, the natural resources that sustained our economy are either drying up or losing relative value. It's time to take stock and move forward. The longer we delay the worse things will get for our fellow citizen, and for those of us who are more fortunate.
