re: Glenn Beck

First, if you were a regular reader here, you would know
how I feel about Glenn Beck, and why I said...

"Ignore the messenger, and focus on the message."

I've stated many times, that personally, I don't care
for Glenn Beck. But, that doesn't mean the research and
reporting that he and his staff are doing, isn't both
accurate and informative.

The reason the progressives (socialists) hate Beck, is not
because of what he says, it’s because of what he exposes
them saying.

Van Jones and Anita Dunn were forced out of the Obama
administration not because of what Glenn Beck said, but
because of what they said.

The left hates Glenn Beck not because of what he says,
but because of what he does.

The leftists would have preferred that Cass Sunstein, Mark
Lloyd, Van Jones, Robert Creamer, and Anita Dunn’s history,
beliefs, and agendas, would have remained in the shadows,
but Beck did something that few others in the mainstream
media are willing to do, he simply brought the disinfectant
of sunshine to the American public.

And it was the American people, not Glenn Beck, who forced
the exodus of Van Jones and Anita Dunn.

Truth comes from the message, not the messenger.

Why can’t people figure that out?

Why can’t people separate the message from the messenger?

One of my favorite investigative journalists is John Pilger. I’m
a big fan of his documentaries and I’m presently reading one
of his books.

Pilger is leftist and regularly attends and speaks at socialist events,
such as “Socialism 2000” this past July in San Francisco, where he
gave this presentation entitled: ”Empire Obama”

Once again, truth is found in the message, not the messenger.

Sadly, most people can't separate the two.

re: "That guy is an ADMITTED Drunk with NO education."

As far as being an admitted drunk and a recovering alcoholic,
at least Beck's open and public about it. I mean it's not like
he drove his secretary off a bridge and left her to die, like
Ted Kennedy did.

Divers removing Mary Jo Kopechne's body from
Ted Kennedy's abandoned car at Chappaquiddick

And at least Beck hasn't come on air, and stumbled, stammered,
and slurred his words while drunk as a skunk, like Sen.
Max Bacchus (D-Mont) recently did on the Senate floor...

youtube.com

And yes, Beck did drop out of Yale, so he is a college drop
out, just like Bill Gates, Paul Allen, and Michael Dell.

So was billionaire Edgar Bronfman Jr. of Seagrams & Warner Music fame.

So was billionaire Larry Ellison, the co-founder of Oracle. He
dropped out of the University of Chicago and the University
of Illinois.

So was billionaire Sheldon Adelson, the casino and hotel developer.

So was billionaire Roman Abramovich, the richest man in Russia,

So was billionaire Barry Diller, the Hollywood mogul,
Internet maven, and chairman of IAC/InterActive Corp.
He dropped out of UCLA to work in the mail room at the
William Morris agency.

So was billionaire David Geffen, the founder of Geffen Records and
co-founder of DreamWorks. Dropped out of the University of
Texas at Austin after his freshman year. Also flunked out of
Brooklyn College. Started work by sorting mail at the
William Morris Agency (must something about that William
Morris Agency mail room).

So was Clint Eastwood, the Oscar-winning actor, director, and
producer. He attended at least half a dozen schools and excelled
at none of them. Enrolled at Los Angeles City College, but
never graduated. Among other jobs, he bagged groceries,
delivered papers, fought forest fires, and dug swimming pools.

So was Barry Goldwater, U.S. senator and presidential
candidate. He dropped out of the University of Arizona
after one year to take over the family department store.

So was Winston Churchill, one of the great orators in history.

U.S. President Harry Truman never went to college.

So was William Safire, columnist for the New York Times.
Dropped out of Syracuse University to take a job as a
researcher for a newspaper columnist.

J.K. Rowling, bestselling novelist, and the first billionaire
author, never attended college, she’s only a high school grad.

They're all college drop outs, or never attended college.

And check out this list of high school drop outs...

collegedropoutshalloffame.com

Carl Bernstein, the Pulitzer Prize winning reporter,
was a high school drop out at age 16.

Richard Branson, the billionaire founder of Virgin Airlines,
and Virgin Music. Another high school drop out at age 16.

Andrew Carnegie, the billionaire philanthropist, dropped
out of school at age 13.

Actor Sean Connery, yes, 007 is a high school drop out.

Walt Disney, he dropped out of high school at age 16 to
join the Army.

Thomas Edison, multimillionaire inventor of the phonograph,
light bulb, and many other inventions. He quit formal
schooling after his teacher called him addled. Was home-
schooled by his mother. Joined the railroad at the age of 12.

Benjamin Franklin, inventor, scientist, inventor, diplomat,
author, printer, publisher, politician, patriot, signer of
the U.S. Declaration of Independence. Like Edison, another
Home Schooler, with less than two years of formal education.

William Faulkner, Nobel and Pulitzer prize-winning novelist,
dropped out of high school after his second year. Also later
attended but dropped out of the University of Mississippi.

Bobby Fischer, Grandmaster chess player, is a high school dropout.

Peter Jennings, news anchor, ABC's World News Tonight. Failed
the 10th grade. Left high school at 16 to work as a bank
teller. He later attributed his failure in high school to
boredom and laziness.

Kirk Kerkorian, billionaire investor and casino operator,
owner of MGM movie studio, Mirage Resorts, and Mandalay Bay
Resorts. An eighth-grade dropout who trained fighter pilots
during World War II.

Ray Kroc, founder of McDonald's, was a high school dropout,
and didn't start McDonald's until age 52.

Wolfgang Puck, chef, owner of 16 restaurants and 80 express
bistros, quit school at the age of 14 and got a job as a
cooking apprentice at a hotel.

John D. Rockefeller Sr., billionaire founder of Standard Oil,
philanthropist. History's first recorded billionaire. Dropped
out of high school two months before graduation. Took some
courses at a local business school.

Frank Lloyd Wright, architect, interior designer, leader of
the Prairie School of architecture. Voted as the greatest
American architect of all time by the American Institute of
Architects. Attended a high school in Madison, Wisconsin, but
apparently never graduated. He was admitted to the University
of Wisconsin as a special student and took classes part-time
for two semesters. He left school without getting a degree.
He left to work at an architectural firm in Chicago, Illinois
and taught himself while learning on the job..

Now what was your point about no "real" education?

Have you talked to any recent college grads lately?

We're not educating, as much as we're indoctrinating. And
it's the same at the high school level.

And the one thing we really suck at teaching, is critical
thinking. All individualism, all creativity, all thinking
outside the box is discouraged, and instead, students
are taught to arrive at a group consensus, and to share
collective, common values.

And did you notice, that the same collectivist, socialist
values being mandated in Brazil, are being instituted
worldwide by UNESCO, including in the USA.

If you want a real eye opener about America's public education
system, then watch this documentary by Charlotte Iserbyt.

"The Deliberate Dumbing Down Of America"

Iserbyt served as Senior Policy Advisor in the U.S. Department
of Education, during the first Reagan Administration,
where she blew the whistle on a major initiative which would
control all curriculum in America's public school classrooms.

Her 1989 report "Soviets in the Classroom: America's Latest
Education Fad," covered the details of the Carnegie Foundation’s
institution of a Soviet designed educational system in America.

re: "Limbaugh is an ADMITTED drug addict with no real education."

Limbaugh?

Who said anything about Rush Limbaugh?

I think you'll find more libertarians here than Republicans,
as well as a lot of ex-Bush supporters who now support Ron Paul.

It sounds like you arrived here with an agenda, because Rush Limbaugh
is rarely, if ever discussed here. You’re way off base there.

re: "This stuff scares me alright, but it doesn't scare me
about Socialism or Communism, it SCARES me about FASCISM."

As far as Marxist-Leninism, socialism, Fabianism, communism,
statism, corporatism, collectivism, communitarianism, or (F)fascism,
I wouldn't get too hung up on the pseudo-intellectual 'ism debate,
because this administration's playbook pulls from all of them.

They've drawn on everything from Alinsky's Rules for Radicals,
to the Cloward-Piven strategy. They’ve appointed unelected
Leninist NGO Czars, and instituted Mussolini style Fascism,
given all the public- private, monopoly partnerships like the
deals Obama cut with Big Pharma on health care, the faux flu
vaccines, and with corporations like Whirlpool and GE in his
stimulus spending package.

How about we just call it -- Obamunism?

Are you okay with that?

re: “You guys are getting PLAYED...and I don't really care
about that, but you may REALLY screw up this country with your
simplistic thoughts and I REALLY care about that.”

As far as who's being played, and screwing up the country,
I think we've thoroughly covered the vehicles politicians use
to “play” the country. We discuss everything from classic Hegelian,
thesis-antithesis-synthesis, to the false left- right paradigm, of
America’s illusory two party system as exposed by the CFR’s
own historian, Professor Carol Quigley of Georgetown
(Bill Clinton’s mentor)…

"The argument that the two parties should represent opposed
ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other
of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the
doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties
should be almost identical, so that the American people
can "throw the rascals out" at any election without leading
to any profound or extreme shifts in policy."

- Carrol Quigley, in his book “Tragedy and Hope.”

And if you want to find out who's really playing America,
I'd highly recommend Anthony Sutton's trilogy on Wall Street,
which you can in the post below:

But speaking of who’s actually being played right now...

What’s up with John Pilger’s expose` of “Brand Obama” at
the West coast’s “Socialist 2000?”

youtube.com

What’s up with the Eastern Liberals turning on “Brand Obama”
with this recent piece in the Village Voice, titled:

“George H. Obama”

villagevoice.com

Even the unions are feeling “played by Obama” with them now facing
huge tax bills on their so-called “Cadillac” union health plans?

And what happened with Obama's promise to re-negotiate NAFTA
and save union jobs?

What happened to ending wars and bringing the troops home?

What's up with sending 30,000 more troops to expand the war in
Afghanistan, and then using private contractors to replace the few
troops we’re bringing home from Iraq?

Not to mention a new front opening up in Yemen, and the potential
for Obama to win yet another "War is Peace," Nobel Prize
for what appears to be a when, not if, war in Iran.

And then there's the expansion of AFRICOM. Obama is already sending
in the Blackwater mercenaries into Somalia…

presstv.ir

Obama is making Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowicz, and Perle,
seem like a bunch of pacifists.

And speaking of the the Neo Cons, what happened to those war
crimes investigations? Cheney has basically taunted Obama,
virtually daring him to investigate.

It sure looks like Cheney is playing Obama. Maybe John Pilger is
correct about Obama being a CIA puppet. After all, there are those
missing years from Colombia ( can you say Tavistock), none of his
peers remember him, and his first job was for notorious CIA front
company - “Business International Corp.?”

Obama's first job was with CIA front - "Business International Corp."

Did the CIA & their puppet just play the entire left?

And what happened with repealing the Patriot Act, ending the
Bush- Cheney, Neo Con Police State, and returning America's
privacy rights?

And what's up with Preventive Detention and the new NSA spying?

Obama not only renewed all the Bush Neo Con imitatives, he expanded them!

Even leftists like Salon.com, and MSNBC’s Keith Olberman &
Rachel Maddow went off on that, until they were muzzled…

eff.org

As Glenn Greenwald pointed out in Salon…
salon.com
“In other words, beyond even the outrageously broad "state secrets"
privilege invented by the Bush administration and now embraced
fully by the Obama administration, the Obama DOJ has now invented
a brand new claim of government immunity, one which literally asserts
that the U.S. Government is free to intercept all of your communications
(calls, emails and the like) and--even if what they're doing is blatantly
illegal and they know it's illegal--you are barred from suing them unless
they "willfully disclose" to the public what they have learned. ("New and
worse secrecy and immunity claims from the Obama DOJ," Salon, April 6, 2009)

And what's up with continuing the torture?

What's up with continuing the secret US rendition camps in Europe
like this one in Lithuania featured by the Huffington Post?

huffingtonpost.com

What's up with expanding the drone attacks that are killing
more civilians than terrorists?

And what happened to Obama’s promise to post all major
legislation online for at least five days so Congress could
read it, and the people could debate it?

What happened to all the jobs the American Recovery and
Re-Construction Act was supposed to create?

What happened to the public option that Obama promised the
Democratic Party?

Wasn’t that what Obamacare was supposed to be about? Even
Howard Dean said Obama sold out the Democratic party and
the people who elected him.

And what happened to that promise to put the final health care
negotiations on CSPAN?

What's up with giving Fannie & Freddie another $800 billion
dollars and trying to sneak it by the American public on
Christmas Eve?

What's up with raising the debt ceiling again, and again?

What's up with another stimulus package?

What's up with floating a trial balloon about converting
private 401K's and IRA's to government annuities?

What's up with giving the single most corrupt law enforcement
agency in the history of the world, Interpol, immunity in the US?

And what's up with these 10 Governors "appointed" by Obama,
where the military, Homeland Security, FEMA, and state
governments are synthesized under control of the executive
branch, while bypassing Congress?

Sure sounds like the Neo Con's "Continuity of Government"
Martial Law plan being iprepared, with America divided into
the 10 FEMA regions?

Forget the pablum about this being “Bush’s Third Term,”
Obama is Bush with ‘Roid Rage!”

Now what was your question about being played again?
