Yes it's been a fun year for watching Favre. I'm a lifelong Packer fan but my second team was always the Cowboys. That is until Jones bought them and basically summarily fired Landry without even a goodbye. That was it for me.

Not sure his kids even love him.

I'm not a real fan of Peyton though there is no denying his skills. A certain amount of arrogance is needed to play his position but he is well over stocked. This Sanchez kid is a real joy to watch. Best thing to come the Jets way in quite awhile. Would they have gotten him had Favre not retired for the 78th time? I don't know but Jets fans ought to be thrilled this is how it worked out.

Wonder what MN is going to do about the QB position? I could see Favre trying one more year but that would absolutely it. He is a temporary solution to a longer term problem. Jackson is not the answer to that problem so they need to find their Sanchez.
